Do you ship outside Canada?
No, The Pour Circle ships only within Canada. Every order is sent with Canada Post, and all prices are in Canadian dollars. If you want to send a gift to someone in Canada from abroad, simply enter their Canadian address as the shipping address at checkout.
How long does delivery take?
Orders ship within 12 to 24 hours of being placed, and delivery across Canada takes 8 to 12 business days with Canada Post. If you are ordering for a specific date, such as Christmas or Father's Day, allow the full 12 business days to be safe.
Is shipping free?
Yes, shipping is free on every order across Canada. There is no minimum order value and no hidden handling fee. Your parcel travels with Canada Post, and the price you see on the product page is the price you pay.
Returns & guarantee
What is your money-back guarantee?
The Pour Circle offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. You have 30 days from the day your order is delivered to request a swap or a full refund. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging.
How do I request a return or exchange?
Email contact@thepourcircle.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and whether you would like a swap or a refund. We will reply with the next steps. Please keep the item unused and in its original packaging until the return is arranged.
When will I receive my refund?
Your refund is issued once the return is received and inspected. It goes back to the original payment method you used at checkout. If you asked for a swap instead, we send the replacement once the returned item has been checked.
What if my decanter arrives damaged?
Email us at contact@thepourcircle.com with your order number and a photo of the damage, and we will put it right. Every decanter is double-boxed for transit and 100% of our orders arrive intact, so damage is rare, but you are covered if it happens.
The decanters
Do the decanters come with whisky inside?
No, our decanters arrive empty. You fill them with the whisky, bourbon, rum or any other spirit you prefer. This also means they can be shipped anywhere in Canada as ordinary glassware, with no restrictions on who can receive the parcel.
Are the decanters lead-free and food-safe?
Yes, every decanter sold by The Pour Circle is made of hand-finished, lead-free, food-safe glass. You can store whisky or any other spirit in it as you would in any good-quality glass decanter.
How do I clean a shaped whisky decanter?
Hand wash it with warm water and a mild detergent, rinse well and let it air dry upside down, or with the stopper out, so no moisture is trapped inside. Do not put it in the dishwasher, as the heat and the shaped glass do not mix well.
How much whisky does each decanter hold?
Capacity varies by design, because each decanter is a different shape. The exact capacity is listed on each product page, so check there before you order if you have a particular bottle in mind.
Are the designs limited?
Yes, all our decanters are produced in limited runs. Once a design sells out, it is not restocked. If a particular shape is the one you want, it is worth ordering while it is still listed.
The glasses
Where are your whisky glasses made?
Our whisky glasses are Japanese crystal, made in Japan. They are sold on their own and also as part of a small number of decanter and glass sets, so you can match a set of glasses to a shaped decanter if you wish.
Can I buy the glasses individually or in sets?
Both. Each Japanese crystal whisky glass is available as a single glass, a pair, or a set of four. Choose the quantity on the product page, and remember that multi-item discounts apply automatically at checkout.
Gifting
Can I ship a decanter straight to the recipient?
Yes. Enter the recipient's address as the shipping address at checkout and your own details as the billing address. The order ships within 12 to 24 hours and arrives in 8 to 12 business days anywhere in Canada.
Is the decanter gift-ready when it arrives?
Yes, every decanter arrives in a gift-ready box, and the whole parcel is double-boxed for the journey. Around 90% of our orders are bought as gifts for Christmas, Father's Day, birthdays, retirements and groomsmen, so the packaging is built with that in mind.
Ordering & payment
Do you offer a discount for buying more than one?
Yes. Buy two items and save 20%, buy three and save 25%, buy four and save 30%. The discount is applied automatically at checkout, with no code needed, and it works across decanters, glasses and sets.
Why is everything 60% off?
We are making room for new designs. Because each design is produced in a limited run and is not restocked once it sells out, the 60% discount applies to the current range while it lasts.
What payment methods do you accept?
The Pour Circle accepts Shop Pay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay. All prices are in Canadian dollars, and checkout is handled securely through Shopify.
